Daniel DiMond

3rd Lieutenant

Dan is the head of Human Resources for a non-profit hospice in Central Jersey and a trivia host at different bars. He has been a member of FLVAC since 2015 and currently serves as Chair of the History and Plaques and Sunshine Committees. He has also served as our Chaplain, emceed our installation dinners, and served on our Honors and Awards, 20th District, and Recruitment committees. His favorite part of FLVAC is that regardless of what we all do the rest of the day, when we put on that uniform, we get to go out into our community and help someone on the worst day of their life. When that ambulance pulls into someone’s driveway and we walk into the house, the look of relief on people’s faces is instantly recognizable; he thinks that’s pretty special. He believes it is a privilege to be a member of the Corps and he is proud of his fellow volunteers for the work they do in the community every day. Dan’s other hobbies include running, collecting celebrity autographs, and playing classic video games.
